Q1. How do I pair my e-strap with the MMT-365 application?

A1. To pair your e-strap:
  • Open the MMT-365 application on your device and place your e-strap close to it.
  • Briefly press and release your e-strap button to wake it up.
  • Then press the "start" button on the pairing screen of the application
  • You will be prompted to press and release your e-strap button one more time to complete the pairing.
  • Note: To pair a e-strap make sure the button is pressed and released. If the button is pressed and held, the e-strap will not pair to your device.

Q2. How do I force my e-strap to sync with the MMT-365 application?

A2. Launch the MMT-365 application on your device, then briefly press and release the e-strap button to connect. If your e-strap doesn't connect after a few seconds, here are some tips:
  • Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your device and try moving your e-strap closer to your phone. If your e-strap and phone are already a few inches apart, try pressing and releasing your e-strap button again.
  • If you continue having trouble syncing, turn your device's Bluetooth setting off and back on again.
  • If this does not work, turn off your device and re-start it. Smartphones and tablets, like computers, need to be rebooted periodically to function optimally.
  • Also verify your phone or tablet is above 20% battery level. Several devices will conserve power when battery drops under 20%. If you are having trouble connecting or pairing, please make sure your phone is charged above 20%. Some devices will not connect over Bluetooth even when plugged into a power source if the device's battery level is below 20%.

Begin by connecting the e-strap and the app. Do so by pressing the button of the e-strap with the MMT-365 app open. When the e-strap is connected the my watch icon in the top right hand corner of your screen will turn blue. Now select the plus icon in the bottom left corner of your screen. Once you are done with your walk access the stopwatch page and stop the stopwatch recording with the e-strap connected to the app. From the MMT-365 home page select Activity and you will see a small stopwatch icon along your activity graph, select this icon to view details of your stopwatch recording. Selecting the Calipers next to your distance allows you to calibrate your stopwatch recordings leading to greater accuracy of future recordings.

Q12. How are calories calculated in MMT-365?

A12. Whether you are sedentary or sleeping, your body burns calories; this is known as BMR (basal metabolic rate) calories. By default, MMT-365 reports calories burned as a combination of your BMR and your activity level. Your height, weight, age, and gender influence these values. If you'd like to view only your active calories on the dynamic coach graph, select the "plus" icon at the bottom left. From the menu, select Settings > General then toggle "bmr calories" off.

Q13. How is light vs deep sleep determined?

A13. There is a direct correlation between micro-motions of the body during sleep and sleep cycles. MMT-365 is the product of years of technology development based on the biomechanics of natural human motion and the mechanics of machine motion. Using the medical gold standard of Polysomnography, Fullpower's MMT Sensor-Fusion engine analyzes millions of anonymous nights of sleep and validates and continually improves the accuracy and reliability of MMT-365.

Q14. If I forget to start my sleep recording from the e-strap, but wear it to bed, can I recover my sleep data?

A14. Yes. If you forget to start your sleep recording using the button on the e-strap but wear your e-strap to bed, go to the sleep page, then select the "touch to add sleep" button to recover your sleep data. Note, to recover your actual sleep data, the e-strap must have been worn on your wrist during the sleep session. If you did not wear the e-strap on your wrist, you can still use this feature to log a manual sleep recording.

Q15. I’m testing Sleep Cycle Alarms and they are not sounding?

A15. Sleep Cycle Alarms will sound the next time the alarm window is entered. So if you set an alarm time 10 minutes from now with an alarm window of 30 minutes and a repeat of every day, the alarm will sound for tomorrow as you are already in the alarm window at the time of setting the alarm.

When doing a quick alarm test, set the alarm window to 0 minutes and the alarm time for at least 10 minutes in the future. Always remember to sync your e-strap after any settings changes.

Q16. How many days of data are stored on the e-strap between syncs?

A16. Approximately 10-15 days of data can be stored on the e-strap in between syncs with the MMT-365 app.

Q17. How do I export data to Apple Health?

A17. First, access Apple’s Health App on your phone. Select Sources, then MMT. You now have the option to save active energy, resting energy, sleep analysis, step and distance data to the Apple Health app.

Q18. Do I need to wear my e-strap to record my sleep?

A18. Wearing your e-strap will provide the best accuracy, but you can also place your e-strap under your pillow. Just be sure to tell MMT-365 which position you prefer from the settings page under "sleep mode placement".
